Dear Reader,
Thanks for being here.
Have there been times when you wish you were more practical than emotional? Maybe there have been some “mistakes” that were made from the heart and the hurt they caused have made you “stern”. You like to keep your tongue sharp and make sure everyone knows who is the boss of your life. This has been a difficult lesson and your power is hard earned. But the satisfaction you felt in your past still evades you. There was a certain freedom in that innocence. The world seemed brighter and the future more promising. Is innocence the price we pay for wisdom?
Well, I can’t say for sure. But for now, it may be so. For one area of your life, yes, the one you’re thinking of as you read this, this may be it. But not all is lost. Old doors will have to be closed. New calls will have to be answered. Change is the nature of life. And when it is time to let go, you’d better do it fast. The cards today tell us a simple story - of growth and maturation. Of moving from the heart to the head. Of ending one way of being and starting another. But it is not asking us to choose between the heart or the head. No. It is showing us that this is the journey of the novice. Whenever you begin something new, you will begin from the center, let it change you, and then come out of it transformed. To believe that only one, either heart or intellect is the way to navigate it is unrealistic. Both serve their purpose. The heart dares to try something new. The mind has the strength to continue working when the initial honeymoon period has ended. The key is to accept yourself in both phases. And the end is to know that you have experienced and mastered both.
That’s what the cards are telling me this week. If there’s a story emerging from these cards for you, please share it in the comments. And if there’s a question you’d like to see featured on this blog, just drop in a message. I am looking forward to reading more cards with you all.
I wish you swift and easy changes.
Love.
